Sky Bus Lines Caronna | Pisa Airport - Florence
Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)
The service runs every day, all year round; the duration of the journey is about 60 minutes, traffic permitting, without intermediate stops.
We always recommend booking a bus that allows you to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours in advance of the presentation time, in order to make up for any delays.
Rates for using our buses start from € 14,99 for the daytime slot and from € 21,99 for the night time slot. Children aged 2 to 11 always pay €8,99.
The prices are not particularly expensive if you consider that:
- the connection takes place directly from Pisa Airport to the city of Florence, without stops, tickets and intermediate changes;
- the route of our shuttles is comparable to that of a taxi, from point to point via the FI-PI-LI main road, but with a significantly cheaper price than an NCC or taxi trip with an interprovincial rate.
Unfortunately, due to an Ordinance of the Municipality of Florence for the streamlining of urban traffic during daytime hours, our buses arrive at the Guidoni Parking, next to the T2 tramway stop. By tramway it is possible to reach both the center of Florence and Peretola airport in just a few minutes. Furthermore the area offers a large free car parking for those who need to accompany or pick up travellers.

Questions about the Services
You can purchase your tickets online 24 hours in advance or at the ticket office inside Pisa airport next to the passenger exit. Even directly on the bus but your ticket will have to suffer an increase in cost.
It is important that you know that there is no ticket office in Florence. So, you can buy your tickets to Pisa online 24 hours in advance or you can buy them in Pisa at the Caronna Tour ticket office located next to the passenger exit of the airport.
The schedule of our buses is always programmed to coincide with the arrivals and departures of the main airline flights and our last bus is, very often, the only resource to reach Florence and, at times, the departure may be subject to moderate delays subject to arrival of the last flight to allow all passengers (within an acceptable limit) to reach Florence during the night.
Now the terminus “FIRENZE T2 GUIDONI” is connected to:
- Pistoia: R04 line (via the A11 motorway)
- Prato: R1 line (via A11 motorway)
- Montecatini: R03 line (via A11 motorway)
- Prato – Campi Bisenzio: line 212
- Florence center and Peretola Airport: Florence Tramway – Line T2
No, Caronna Tour is the only company that accompanies you and picks you up in the internal car park at Pisa airport. The bus stop is located less than 50 meters away, in front of the arrivals exit, near the taxi rank.
